12 months for female applicant.. what took so long?

provided each and every thing they required still they are not satisfied, yeah i can re appeal but re appeal gona take 8 to 9 months, nothing thinking to consult some lawyer to get rid of this mass.

yeah you should consult a lawyer.

after the long wait of almost 16 months i got the decision for my case and they rejected my visa stating that you don't have enough evidence that satisfy your geniune relation :arghh:

this does sound confusing.. you need to sort this out as it has taken 10 months already..

They are not replying on emails.. dont know how to sort this thing out

Really need to stress on the fact that best method of contacting AHS is through email. Everytime you try to call, your call will be forwarded or cut off.

 

I only ever emailed AHS and always received replies within few working days.

I have been emailing them since dec 2012 but no reply.. and on call they are giving different answers..

What do they say?

Actually my husbands file was transferred to pakistan from another country. In Jan they said file is recieved and in process, now they say they say thay file is only transferred electronically not physically.

i have tried to contact them but i am getting confusing replies from them.. not sure what is going on..

I guess the right time is within these 12 months.. The problem is we don't even know whether the case is progressing.. They should classify processing times on the immigration website..

10 months are gone and we havenot heard anything other thn acknowledgement,

Today i called AHC Islamabad to get the status of my case, first they refused to tell me then she told me that we haven't received your additional documents, as your job history. while i have submitted form 80 along with application and sent additional documents on 24 of December 2012.

 

can any one suggest me wat to do ....??

Same thing happened with me, when i called AHC for status update lady there refuse to give any info and said u are not authorised person, i said i have submitted authorisation form back in Nov 2010 then she said they haven't got it. I emaild the form again and called them she said the same thing and when i said i have emailed u the form then she said call another time. I dont know what is going on...

I suppose, Form 54 is used for determining family composition and might work as FRC.

 

When I was submitting my application, AVAC staff instructed to include PCC, Form 54 and any required document listed in both AHC and AVAC checklist, and I had to arrange those documents before my appointment, without such documents AVAC wasn’t accepting my application.

 

I'm surprised that how AVAC accepted applications without PCC and Form 54? Let me know.

For Male applicants this process is sooooooooooooooooo long Tyounas ... i applied in April i got additional documents request in October and then Medicals in March .... and after Medicals i still don't know when it will be finalized even 15 months will be completed next month so be prepared sis

But the problem is we have not received any request from AHC yet not even additional doc.

My husband is Oct applicant still no update.

Yes AHC is not giving S***** these days to anyone. I don’t know what is going on.

Hopefully, after 1^st July things will become normal that’s what been told to my husband in oz.

I wish I can fly but so sad that we have become bheegi billi.

Dont expect any grant this Month .... Visa Grants will start next month and i guess now partner visa section is not even answering calls , i am trying from Yesterday and then tried today morning but always it directs to VM that Mr.Ali Abbas is not on his seat even i asked the operator to transfer me to Miss T but she didnt and then i furiously said to her that i will lodge complaint against her and guess what she did ???? she again transferred me to Mr.Ali Abbas who is not available on his seat :mad: and the operator was telling me her name proudly like she don't has any tension that some one can make complaint against her , they have now again increased the visa fee for next financial year but they just don't damn care to increase the level of services !!!!!

same case with me, i have been trying to call them from last 3 weeks but call goes to the vm. They are not taking calls.

no update yet....

Yes FRC is required...check this checklist for Partner Application. Form 54 is FRC

I read somewhere that they have fixed the number of visa grants in family stream each year and they receive more applications. When that number is up, they may consider to grant the visa in next year..so thats the cause of increase in the timeline. Just wondering if anybody know when does their year start and when does it finish??
