Our initial thoughts are January. I think we are going to start flogging things, sell properties and take it from there!

I'm off to sunshine coast hopefully but don't have a job yet. I keep thinking of things to sell/get rid of but cant really do anything until Aug/Sept as I don't want to live in an empty house (unless my house does sell in the mean time)!!!!! If it does sell I'll be back off to my parents for a few months!

Did anyone book business class travel for their one way journey?

Congratulations to everyone who has had their visa granted. Just want to ask those that have got their visa where are you starting with the next stage of planning/moving? Im not moving over till Jan just keep making lists of things i need to sort out.

Hi guys, my visa was granted this morning 17/3/15!!!! Cannot say how relieved I am now, after I had written it off yesterday as I thought my skills assessment was out of date but they accepted it. Everyone have faith your dream will become your reality soon!!!

I was hoping to hear today, another weekend without knowing! Grhh!!

I know it's so frustrating!!

That's what I'm not sure of, AIR are sending me out a new one but thought I'd try with that whilst I'm waiting.

A letter of skills assessment not just my accreditation certificate

Update spoke to my parents the paperwork it at their house, been and uploaded it now but it's dated 2011, fingers crossed they accept it with my updated accreditation certificate.

I'd give them a call if I were you, if its something simple whoever you speak with can deal with it rather than it sitting in an email to do list for a day or two

I did phone them thank you, apparently I recieved a skills assessment letter along with my statement of accredition but I don't have it. They are going to post one out to me, but it's going to to take about 2 weeks ? at least I know I'm on my way with it the sleepless nights can stop for now. Just wish they could email me a copy

I've had contact from my Case Officer, requesting more information, I'm now frantically emailing skills assessment place for the information, fingers crossed they reply quickly!!!!

You won't be waiting long, I now have a case officer. I have been waiting for my PCC which has turned up in the post today!

what time UK time did you receive correspondence from CO?

Congratulations to those that have been granted their visa. Seems they have skipped from 9th to 15th Jan. Damn!! More waiting around for me!!

How is everyone feeling? I've managed to have 2 good nights sleep knowing that it's the weekend and offices are closed. Hoping for grant email this week- que sleepless nights and checking emails throughout the night!!!

how many of you are still waiting for their grant, just curious as I lodged 12th Jan and a couple on 9th Jan have been granted!!!

Fingers crossed guys, hopefully there wont be too many more sleepless nights for us waiting for the golden grant email.

It doesn't say received, it says health has been finalised for this person.

Just check under the health requirements.

I cant believe how quickly our medicals were to get back to Australia.

 

We had them done on Tuesday and they are showing as received in my Immiaccount.

where abouts does it say recieved? I can't find mine, the only thing I have is the form that says completed!! Should I be worried?

Just been looking at the December's thread, they are upto granting 15/16th today. Fingers crossed only a a couple of weeks before we start seeing grants, and everything crossed I get my grant in a months time

Your PCC's take a while don't they? Sending mine off next week.

UK pcc takes about 2 weeks to come through I sent mine off 5th Jan and it came back on 14th Jan.

Owen2k am I correct in thinking your wife applied for her job off seek or have you been emailing different hospitals/clinics? I've been rejected from a couple of jobs I have applied for, but put it down to not having a visa in place.

Wow, did you not feel nervous that you didn't get a case officer? JulesRT I'm in the UK near Leeds meeting with the group in Manchester would be good I will keep an eye out for it!

I got my invite last Friday submitted application on Monday and have my medical next monday.

I too need to sell my house then I can go, I'm also looking at Sunshine Coast too.

On the aphra side of things I think we can do it before we get there, but heard people have had trouble with it.
