<p>My colleague was surprised at the rejection - he'd spoken to a regional migration advisor who indicated funds weren't a huge issue, especially for someone willing to relocate to a regional area. He had been planning to get the visa granted and start lining up work opportunities from here, or going over himself to get work before bringing the kids over. Unfortunately they didn't seem to account for that.</p>

<p>We're just the two of us as well, so funds shouldn't be a huge issue. Just hoping to get this visa app off before the point system changes so I don't have to sit a English exam, LOL!</p>
