Just get the grant notice for 309. Applied 25 Nov 14. just wondering, do we require visa label ???

applied on 25 Nov, interview done 2 weeks ago. no update after that.

Bio metric and Medical submitted: june 2014,

Telephonic Interview: mid Sep 2014,

Evidences , PCC, Marriage certificate, polio cert submitted: first week of October 2014

Visa Granted : Today :jiggy:

Alhamdulliah I had my nikkah on last sunday through skype. my wife is in Pakistan. Wana apply 309 for her. Few things I was wondering, can we apply online or we have to apply paper base application in AHC Islamabad. wana apply online but from memory, I have read somewhere husband can’t pay visa fee for spouse if applying online, is it true. Can I use my friends credit card or it necessarily need to be paid by someone outside Australia.

Also due to rain and flood, internet was not working and I had Skype call from phone which had really bad picture quality. So I was not able to record video. What else I can gather a supporting document.

i am currently in Sydney on PR and thinking to marry from Pakistan. its will be difficult for me to take leaves at the moment, so i am thinking to do nikkah on skype rather than visiting Pakistan. Can my spouse apply for 309 visa on basis this marriage certificate/ nikah-nama and will it be acceptable to DIAC. anyone with same experience ?
