I have been keeping an eye on the thread whilst waiting for my visa and it's now been granted so wanted to share my timeline.

 

Nomination and application filed - 23rd June, acknowledged same day

Nomination approved - 4th September

Application approved - 9th September

 

Transition scheme, DR, used MA, all documents front loaded and was filed at Parramatta.

Good stuff, congratulations, I applied on the 26th from a MA via Parramatta, haven't heard anything from my MA as yet.

Checked online but only says in progress

ah ok, i keep checking online. maybe i might give them a call or email tomorrow

A lot of you keep saying you had a Case officer assigned and your nomination was approved, how did you find this out?

I log on to the visa application status and there doesnt seem to be a lot of info except the status(in progress for me) apart from that nothing

Have you been checking with you MA or online yourselves?

Hello Everyone,

My final posts on here:) At last my visa has been approved today by the same CO who approved the nomination last Friday. Phew,,,thank GOD the stress I over!!!!!

This thread in particular had given me hope throughout the waiting period...All the best to those of you who are still waiting.

I am not even sure where my application is at. I haven't heard that the nomination has been approved or anything.

Anybody lodged in May still waiting. We lodged our nomination and application together (186 transition stream) with decision ready through MA to Parramatta office on 31st May. Have not heard anything yet. Anybody in the same boat? where is the DIAC processing up to? Thanks

Its looking pretty random, you applied in May and haven't heard anything, yet some people who applied in June have been granted.

I am a june applicant myself and have heard nothing.

i was just wondering if anyone had used the progress check once you have submitted your visa applications??

Mine currently says In Progress and was wondering if this means i have a case officer or not?

What a difference a day makes! Been super busy at work today and didn't,t check my email until just before I left at 6pm and the golden email was there, in fact had been sat in my inbox since 7.32am this morning! ENS 186 granted, been PR all day and didn't realise.

 

Super super elated, hope everyone else gets theirs soon! Here is my timeline.

Positive skills assessment: 12.7.2013 (applied 3.3.2013) Midwife

Visa application (non DR without MA): 13.7.2013

Visa grant: 15.8.2013

That's brilliant hoping to hear some good news myself, I have been in Perth on a 457 for nearly 3 year and wouldn't mind setting up down secret harbour myself.

How will I know when I have a case officer allocated??

Is there any onshore applicant whose medical was referred & report was sent to Immigration Case B team , MHS ?

Did you get any feedback on this?

I have my results at home saying do not open, but my girlfriends went to the B case team??

Did you recieve them back from them after supplying the reports or not??

Looking for some information.

During our medicals for PR a couple of weeks ago, my OH was given a letter to give to her specialist as we didn't take a report with us.

the letter gives you 28days to supply the report to medibank health here in australia.

her specialist has supplied the report and we are not sure if she sent it to us to supply or direct to medibank.

we received the white do not open medical reports today but are now unsure if these have been finalised are do they still require the report?

has anyone had anything similar, thanks.

thats not true, i went for mine last week. all you need to do is let them know which office you plan to lodge at. It even states this on the medicals forms
