Based on SA and the private sector, the keyword is flexibility. From my experience, you might get asked "can you teach middle school science?", which there is one reply if you want the job. I went for TRT interview at a large, very successful school in Adelaide and was repeatedly asked if I could teach science - there was a science job going.
