Not being financially minded I'm looking for advice please on an endowment policy which will mature at the end of this month.
I have been given 3 options,
Cash it in, £7,000 less, but I expected worse
Continue the policy
Or cash it in and invest the money with them
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
We have one whitch is maturing in 2016, we took it out on our first house but kept the policy going even when we switched to a repayment mortgage. We've been getting letters hinting that if we cash it in now we'll get pretty much the same as if we let it mature. Now I have a deep seated mis-trust of all people financial, afterall they're in the game because of the money they make for themselves not their clients. So I'm gonna let it mature and a) be very pleasantly surprised, and mis trust intact, or b) wind up with egg on my face, in either case no-one else will know about it

We're in Figtree, a bit older (mid 40's) and distinctly unprofessional, but next time I'm home you're welcome round the Nags Head for afew, as long as you're not wierdos haha. You'll find people friendly for the most hart here with the odd bonehead, so probably no different in that regard, lovely scenery too you're gonna love it

Lots of new Poms arriving, brilliant. You'll love it, you can drive round for days and not get bored with the views. We're in Figtree, nearly 7 years now and I can't imagine living elsewhere

I'm in love with the Illawarra as a whole, I love the beauty and the paople, a very good choice in my opinion. I'm getting home from work on Saturday morning for 2 weeks to Figtree and I'm looking forward to it immensely.

I think it became unfashionable for a good while because of the perceived racist connection with the St George cross. Nowadays more and more people are finding that connection pretty tenuous, and refusing to let the likes of the EDL drag it through the gutter. I always have and always will celebrate with a few beers and a bit of a sing song.
