Hi
I'm thinking of getting my OH to email the CO again. We have a flight booked for 29th Dec as we booked it before we applied for the visa when it was taking only 3 months. (Yes in hindsight a bit silly but we knew it would be a busy time of year- I'm was just trying to be organised)) We have been told by our CO it'll be finalised in Feb, which is a full 6 months. Should I ask my OH (it's his visa) to email our CO to see if the visa will arrive sooner? Or should we just be patient and change our flights and wait? We applied 12th Aug and it seems there are loads of ppl who are being quoted feb even though they have just applied....agh! What do I do?

Hi
We have SV too. We have only emailed her once but she replied very promptly, albeit with disappointing information about the visa being finalised in feb which is the full six months.

Hi
My husband applied to for a spouse visa recieved at AH 13th Aug front loaded with meds and police check. Contacted CO to find out rough ETA, she said it will be finalised in Feb. This makes it six months rather than five.
We were hoping for a sunny New Year, but another couple of cold winter months then I suppose we'll have plenty more sunny days!

Congratulations Maybeamy. Did you ask your CO before you went to Australia if it was ok to activate visa in NZ? Want to know if it is worth getting over there and my hubby and bubba to activate their visas in NZ too? Otherwise it'll be Feb ;-(
