<p>I just kept looking on a fwe key job websites. No real method to my approach. Lots of companies aren't interested unless you can start immediately. The problem I have is that even if I was successful in a telephone interview and was offered a job, I wouldn't feel comfortable handing in my notice on a good job in the UK until the sponsoring company had got the position approved by DIAC, then I had been approved by DIAC to fill the position, then my medicals had come back OK. I have to give a month's notice at work so it could take 2 or three months to actually be able to move to Oz and start the job. The question is, will a company be willing to wait that long. All the time, they could withdraw their offer and then my original 176 application could be invalid!</p>

<p>Lots of uncertainty but worth a try to get to Category 1!</p>
