<p>I have a question about working outside Australia and wonder if anyone has any experience of this. Basically, I have been in Australia for almost 4 years, initially on a 457 but got my PR in April 2009. Does anyone know the rules and tax implications of working overseas, (particularly in the offshore oil and gas sector in the UK)? Bearing in mind I am planning to apply for citizenship later this year. </p>
