  1. I rang around locally listed notaries and cost was extortionate like £150 fir first 10 documents then £50 for each additional 5. I am looking at using a justice of the peace instead.

    Does anyone know what information is required for certified qualifications (question 10). Is it just your University Certificate stating your qualification, or do they require a full descripted details of all each module studies in gaining the qualification.

  3. Thanks for your response. I do work for the nhs in the UK, unsure or reciprocal though. I would also need dental and optical cover. I will do a Google search as you suggested. The

    There's a huge range of providers/companies to choose from. Also depends if you have reciprocal cover on medicare ( eg if you're on the NHS in the UK).

    What level of cover are you looking for - basic 457 compliant cover, only public or public and private, etc, etc....

    We've used www.hif.com.au and BUPA before. but there are loads, medibank private, IMAN.....

    If you google "457 compliant health insurance" you'll get some sites that compare the various policies out there.

    However, if you want dental and physio, optical cover, you'll have to take "extras cover".

  4. I have been lucky enough to be offered a job on a 457 visa. But have been told I need to take out health insurance for the family before we move. Does anyone have any tips or idea on who are the best insurers?
