<p><p>Firstly, with the Vetassess process, we did not supply any references from previous employers although we did include personal references from colleagues in the trade my husband was in. Have you been asked for references? If not, then I would not worry at this stage.</p></p>

<p><p>We did not use an agent. We simply downloaded the form from the Vetassess site, and had all the documents certified by a solicitor. We also provided a Statutory Declaration as my husband did not want anyone contacting his employer at the time. We did however provide a copy of his contract of employment and payslips as proof of employment.</p></p>

<p><p>We also did not use an agent for the ENS visa. Its not too bad doing it yourself as long as you take your time filling it in. The only upside to using an agent is that your application can go in as DRC and is processed much quicker.</p></p>
