Tax on UK earnings in Money & Finance Posted April 30, 2019 Hi there I've recently started my own creative business (design), I'm a sole trader here in Australia, a citizen and Australian tax resident. I have just started doing some work for my old company in the UK who have me on a small retainer of £1000 per month for a bunch of hours. Can anyone tell me whether I have to pay tax on this in the UK? Or whether I bring it to Australia myself via transfer and pay tax on it here? Thank you!
