  1. Hi

I think TRA has passed it on to Vetassess to do assessments this page shows what you have to do http://www.vetassess.com.au/migrate_to_australia/ts_assessment_process.cfm it also has links to where, when and how much.

Also there is a self test that you have to do here http://www.tradeset.com.au/ to start with.

Sorry can not tell you what is involved, but am sure someone will be along to explain it or you can search the forum for information

  2. It is a registered disability in Queensland but I think that may be a recent change. The regulatory body wouldn't accept our dyslexia diagnosis from the UK so we had to undergo it again at a high expense. My children attend Catholic schools in the Western suburbs and they have been brilliant with all learning disabilities. My eldest, who is 15, has dyslexia as well as other learning disabilities and she is doing incredibly well here and receives excellent assistance.

Hi Can you tell me the name of the School your 15 year old attends, am looking for a school for my dyslexic son.

    Thanks

    Nigel & Kathy

  3. I am not sure if this is going to create any problems since they may have already updated your details in their system.

Additionally, if you're that much concerned, why not get a visa label?

sending the form back wont cause any problems also you are required to update them if you change passports so that it is in their system when you go through passport control. Visa labels are not used any more as it it is all electronic now but if you want one you have to pay for it.

  4.

Really? Does this include any vehicles or just c vans? Would you have used up 6 months of it if you have it in the uk or is it from arrival? Depends how far is classed as travelling too I guess. Thanks and sorry bout all the questions!
I think you have to owned and used the vehicle for 12 months before shipping. Some info here http://ironladyimports.com/ also have you looked at this thread lots of information http://www.pomsinoz.com/forum/transport-shipping/97053-transporting-your-car-oz-everything-you-need-know.html

  5. I am anticipating having to submit my application in a 457 visa soon as I am just waiting on the outcome of a second interview but things look promising. So far in my 44 years it seems I have got by on only a short version birth certificate, does anyone know if I will need to obtain a full birth certificate for DIAC?

Also is there anywhere I can see an actual copy of the visa application that I will have to complete through skill select, I'm keen to go over the questions and see if I need to obtain anything else as when I get the go ahead I want to be able to submit everything as quickly as possible.

    Thanks

I think this is what you are looking for http://www.immi.gov.au/skilled/skilled-workers/sbs/step-3.htm or this one(seems to be same)

You only need GCSE's and A levels. Its on the SOL list. How hard would it be? How much experience might I need?

I think the answer is no unless you are a Australian Citizen. This is taken from their website To be considered for a job in Customs and Border Protection you must be an Australian citizen. If you are not an Australian citizen, but are eligible for citizenship, your application may be considered. You are encouraged to begin your application for citizenship if you are considering a position in Customs and Border Protection.
