Hi, I'm planning on backpacking in Asia for 6 months followed by going to Oz under the WHV. Would I be able to apply for it when I'm away some time before I intend to go to Oz? I'm not sure where exactly I will be around month 5/6 but will have a laptop. As far as I have found in my research, you can't specify a date in advance of when you enter Oz, it's just granted and then you have 12 months. Do you have to be in the UK to apply for it? As, I don't particularly want to go back to the UK just for this and it would save money if I go straight to Oz, from Asia. Thanks! Will
