I am over excited to say we got the call today to say we have been granted our perm res visas for Oz....:biglaugh: Now the manic organising begins lol... Does anyone have any advise for shipping our car as we really want to take her, plus any tips on what to sort from this end and what can be left till we arrive in Oz later in the year? I am lucky enough that my Dad lives there so will assist but Id like to help him and do as much as I can myself, plus its always good to get different opinions on things.. So having passed his Ielts and Vetassess stage 1, hubby is booked to take the vetasess practical in Nov. does anyone have any advice on what it involves now please as he wants to be as prepared as possible? Thanks :smile::smile:

Hi there.. This post is great as my partner and I are looking at getting a perm res visa in the near future. he is a plumber (not gas) and we were wondering how it all works.. Michael, are you able to advise on Vetassess as he is about to sit this and wondered if you have any advise or tips on how to get through it? Any tips or advice would be most grateful.. Thanks J

Hi everyone. New to PomsinOz but am hoping to get advice if possible as my family and I are currently starting our visa application process. Hubby is taking his English exams Saturday with Ielts to try and get the points we need for a perm residency visa (he's a plumber) If he passes the next step is his Vetassess and if he passes that we then put in our EOI. Would you recommend we use an immigration agent or do it ourselves only looking at both if we use an agent that's an extra 4K we need to find as well as the 7K for the visa application? Anyone have any advice please? Many thanks Justine x
