Hi Smoggy we moved back in May this year. We were planning on Aug but sold the house quicker than we thought! We have three kids, 14, 8 & 2. The 14 year old seems to have settled in without a problem. He'll have half a term of grade 9 before starting his 2 years of GCSE's. He has found the standard of work fairly similar & seems to have fitted in & made friends fine. We agonised over the decision as I was worried about them moving schools but he has been great & seems really happy. Our 8 year old has struggled a bit more. I'm not sure if it's because he's only ever been to an Aus school or what but he has found it more of a challenge. He had always done really well & was a high achiever in Aus & I was worried he'd find the standard s lot higher but he's just had a report & is doing great academically so I think it's just the change & forming new friendships thst he is finding more difficult. 4 weeks in & he seems a lot happier so I think it really depends on the individual child how they will settle The 3 year resident before uni was a big factor in our move happening as quickly as it did too. Hi Rachael I will be ordering one this week as we are moving back ib 5 weeks time!! I just went on to the Sevenseas website & did a quick online quote. For us (Brissy to South Wales) for the largest movecube was around $1900 & just under 3 months for door to door. I'd hop onto the website & get a quote. Good luck Ellie x

Hi Dazzle yes we have pretty much everything left except the queen bed & fridge freezer. I'm planning on getting it on gumtree this week & then garage sale in 2 weeks but anything we can sell before would be great! Where are you in Brissy? We're at Banksia Beach on Bribie Island about an hour from the cbd. If you're not too far you'd be very welcome to pop over sometime & have a look & see if there's anything you fancy. For example we have a nice comfy corner sofa but it isn't very snazzy (lots of stains from 3 kids) but would be fine eother with a"clean or a throw on it. We're only asking $60 for it. We also have a nice coffee table for $40, 2 bedside tables for $20 each, tv table for $30, computer desk for $25 kids beds incl mattresses $20 ea etc etc

Oh yeah & the smaller top part is freezer, bottom part is fridge.
