Hi all Just a quick question. What are job prospects like in Brisbane for WHV holders? Everyone on here seems to go for Sydney or Melbourne. No one ever seems to mention Brisbane. However, I have friends here who I could stay with to help me get settled. Therefore, if anyone can offer advice about whether getting a job here would be likely, I would really appreciate it Thanks in advance Matt

Hi guys This may already have been answered in another thread but I cannot find it. In relation to the 2nd year visa, would WWOOF count towards this? I'm hearing that this may not be the case. If so, then I won't bother doing it, as I only really want to be doing regional work that will count towards my second year visa. Also, any tips on finding work that would count towards the second year visa would be much appreciated Oh and when is the best time to complete this kind of work? I am thinking of arriving in October and I definitely want to do the 2nd year. Any one that will be arriving around that time, please message me as I am looking to meet as many people as possible in the same position as me seeing as I am travelling alone Many thanks Matt

Hi there I am new to this forum but would just like to say hi. I am thinking of doing a WHV later this year. Currently, I work in an office with a good job that is very well paid. So I would be giving up a lot to do my WHV but it's an opportunity I cannot pass up on. My question is, how likely am I to secure an office type customer service / call centre role? Are companies in the bigger cities willing to take on WHV candidates? Thanks in advance
