This is my first time in Aus! I'll be here for about a month before I head up to cairns, going to get myself a job hopefully and just explore the city, what are your plans?

Hey, Ill be arriving into Brisbane on the 9th June so less than a month to go Just wondering if anyone else is around at the same time? Im staying in Bunk hostel for a few days and thats all the plans i have so far!

Hey! Im heading off to Brisbane next month on a WHV for a year, bit nervous about going on my own and have seen these packages (oz adventures/ultimate oz) that give you a few nights stay at a hostel, airport pick up and help with setting up bank accounts/tax/phones. I know that i will be over paying for what they give, but as a newbie to travelling having all the paperwork set up and done so i can start looking for work sounds like an easy way to go. Anybody have any experience with these? Looking for a bit of advice Thanks!

Yeah im gonna book the first few nights before i go just so im not stranded at the airport haha. Ill probably only have about 2000, im gonna have to really budget! which bank have you used?

Are you staying in hostels? Youll have to let me know how it goes any tips would be appreciated, bit nervous about going on my own, but if i dont go now i doubt i ever will so just got to do it!
