Can anyone recommend the best way of getting the most out of my English money when transferring to dollars? The exchange rate is looking better than it has for a while but when I'm looking at banks we seem to lose out on a few hundred dollars?? Can an anyone offer any advise??

hi guys, Does anybody know anything about getting a tax rebate when we move to oz and how to go about it? Our courier company has offered to do it all but want 10% is it easier to so that and lose a bit of the payment or can anyone that's done it themselves advise how/where we go about it.. Is it a simple form or more complicated? Thanks

How long after my medical could I be waiting for an entry date? I keep hearing many things... Has anyone been through it recently on a partner visa?

We looked at that one.. We'll I did but as we're not even engaged yet I didn't want to put the BF under too much pressure!! I think it's pretty similar in the evidence etc that needs proving... Extremely personal stuff.. Sure it will all be worth it, fingers crossed things happen quicker for us both

Yeah I was told that but a friend of ours went for his medical then was granted a couple of weeks later.. He's on a different visa tho.. You wont be far off your medical then, I got my CO then 3 weeks after got the date for my medical

Hi guys so I'm going for my medical next Friday... What happens after that?! How long after the results have ppl been granted their visa? Also if they grant me say a month after how long do we get time wise to actually go as I'm trying to sell my house and can't just up and leave... Also when does the 2 years start? Is it from when I arrive in oz or from the date granted?! Help please :0/

Cat ppl or ppl who have moved cats to oz.. I keep being told about outdoor cat enclosures for my cat once I get to oz, cat max is the main company... It's like netting around the house which allows cats to go outside but not be loose in a strange place. The reason I am considering this is that my cat is a hunter (worrying about snakes) and we currently live among fields so she isn't used to roads and cars.. Has anyone thats moved to oz used one of these or know anyone that has. If not what would be your view? Safety wise I am all for it but I don't think my cat would have the natural exciting life she does now... Any help welcome

Hi guys, due use to the changes in quarantine I now have to wait 180 days before my cat can travel, this means she can't move until July whereas we wanted to go May... I dint really have friends that would take my little lady.. Pet air uk have mentioned they do boarding for pets that need to be homed for longer than 30 days it is however quite pricey. Has anyone done this as I can't help feeling twangs of guilt at leaving my little girl for potentially 2 months in a strange place!! Ideally we wanted to travel all together but realistically it's not looking likely, any advice welcome
