  1. In Surrey, perhaps go to Melbourne or Adelaide (have ruled out Perth) What about you? And what work do you do?
  2. Thanks for asking On the whole, things are pretty good for us at the mo, kids happy, lots of good local work etc, so it's hard to risk throwing that away Having said that if I could be confident of achieving that in Oz, of course with hard work, then I'd go no problem.
  3. Hi , whilst I have made the odd post before I feel it's time to say hi , and ask for input I am a carpenter, have gained PR visas for my family (wife and kids 11 and 9) The visas have been activated and are now 3 years old, so time is ticking away Been putting off making the bold move, any tips on getting over this stage if you've been through it?
  4. Hi First post on forum , and I am requesting feedback on my situation, hopefully I can also contribute something also to others about the gaining visa process We have our visas (family of 4) and an IED of 4th jan 2012, and will go north of Perth I cant wrap up work and everything else by Christmas, so we are now faced with either, 1. take a holiday to activate the visas , and spend far to much money doing so 2. move at christmas, straight into a rental, one way flights for everyone but me, I come back for a few months to finish work and wrap up, still most likely cheaper than a holiday for all 3. any other options ive not thought of gratefully received
