  1. well guys, even if you are right, it's look like need to update form 80 anyway. So question the same: do I have to upload form 1023, when I upload updated form 80? I am asking this because I doubt that form 80 can be defined as 'application' (which is form 1023 for)
  2. May be. But seems there is no way to check, CO is not answering so far. Anyway, I am going to upload a new file, so do I have to fill 1023 (notifications of incorrect answers)? I don't need to update any info in application, the changes will be related to FORM 80.
  3. Hi, I got an email from my CO, requesting to provide Police cert, Medicals and form 80 (though it already was in immiaccount). So my only guess was that I had filled it not properly. So I changed all letters to CAPITAL (e.g. from Ukraine to UKRAINE), and updated several fields, i.e: 1) Added my primary and secondary school (I didn't know it was necessary) 2) Added the city I'am going to live in. Initially it was empty: http://prntscr.com/cowmzh. It appeared to be important information, even though I hadn't booked any flights and don't even have exact plans. 3) Added information about military training: http://prntscr.com/cowr54 4) Added info to part T : http://prntscr.com/cowryi So my question is if I have to fill and upload form 1023 (notifications of incorrect answers), or just upload :UPDATED_FORM80.PDF?
  4. Yeah, but the question was whether I am eligible to submit one more EOI. If I wait until the EOI becomes editable it will be end of July.
  5. Yes it does impact. There was work experience which CPA found irrelevant. In the beginning of June I will have enough points without this job. Don't want to wait two months.
  6. Hi everyone, I received an invitation which contains a mistake on the last round. Now EOI is frozen and I can't change it. Can I submit another EOI to get another invitation? Looking forward to good advice.
  7. Hi, Just want to make sure. If I suspend my EOI, will I skip the next invitation round? Thanks!
  8. Hi,As the threshold for accountants is 70 and is unlikely to fall, I have to submit work experience I initially wasn't going to. The company I used to work for from 2007 to 2009 doesn't conduct business activity anymore, but not liquidated and I think that I can obtain the reference letter. So my question is what type of documents, apart from taxation certificates can be used as a reliable proof of my work experience? Please share your experience.Thank you in advance.
  9. Hi @CaptainC, DIBP has already published Mar 9 result which showed that the average number ( per day) of 70 point accountants rose noticeably (from approx 100 to 200 a month). Do you have any idea what might have caused this change in trends (graduates, seasonality etc.)?
  10. Congratulations!!! Interestingly buy not surprisingly, I have similar point breakdown with you, except experience (8 years, compared to my 5 years) and this gave you supremacy.
  11. Congrats, I have never been invited by NSW, but as far as I know, you indeed have 2 weeks to apply. Also, I never used an agent and did everything by myself, but as you took this path (migrate through an agent), I would wait and listen to what agent will say, and then decide what to do. Don't think coming weekend will make any difference. Can you share your points break down?
  12. Found: https://submissions.education.gov.au/forms/archive/2015_16_sol/documents/Attachments/CPA%20Australia.pdf http://www.abdc.edu.au/data/Advocacy/ABDC_Submission_Retaining_Accountants_on_SOL_2016-17_as_of_2015_11_13.pdf to answer your other questions I need your email.
  13. Hi Kuriatko, you can give me your e-mail, so I'll send it to you. BTW, where are you from?
  14. Hi, Below I'll describe my doubts, so I am looking for advice or an opinion. 1. In Nov I submitted EOI with several companies I worked for. I don't claim points for this experience because it was irrelevant. In fields with names I wrote "ELTA", but in my PaySlip the name is "ELTA LLC", where LLC is a type of business entity. May this look suspicious for CO? Will I have problems with this. 2. The company I claimed points for changed its legal name amid my work there, from Apple Technology Pte. Ltd to Apple Global Pte. Ltd (Apple is an example here) When I submitted EOI I didn't separate my experience between the two names wrote only the second company name : Apple Global Pte. Ltd., and the same name is stated in my work reference for the entire period I worked there. May this look suspicious for CO? Will I have problems with this. Thanks in advance.
  15. Of course we don't know for sure. I saw 2 official documents related to this case. 1st - official letter from CPA to some AU body that has influence on the demand for accountants from AU Government. In this letter CPA was persuading to keep accountants in SOL and stated that Australia will need a lot of additional accountants in the coming years. 2nd - a response from this body, which concluded that AU will need more accountants indeed. (If it's important can spend some time and find those letters) We doubted whether AU Gov needed accountants because of a low invitation rate in Q4 2015, but now I think it looks like they just were trying to level the total number of accountants and auditors combined (as these occupations are very close). I think the number of invitations for accountants should be around 200-250 a round in March. Hope they won't make the same mistake with auditors as in 2015. However, I do agree that this is only guess and my interpretation. But, there should be some logic and factors behind the process.
