gaurmis
Hi All, My intention of joining this forum is to get help on how to prepare an RPL report. Someone had done it already and by requesting that person to share his report doesn't mean I use it at my own disposal. I too realise that using wordings from someone else's report is not ethical and I would never do that. I planned to use the report only as a reference/guide while preparing my own report. NickyNook, you were being judgmental by assuming that I would do such a thing. Adding sarcastic comments like - "I bet they are from high risk countries with fraudulent applications etc" is insulting. Your intention of helping people may be good, but doesn't give you the right to say such things and get personal. I know I've used some harsh words in my earlier post and I "apologise" to everyone for it. Just wanted to clarify my intention here and didn't want to be arrogant or rude to anybody. Sorry again for diverting everyone from the main topic.
itskarajagi
Hi ronkhu, I went down the RPL route when I applied for my Skilled Independent visa back in 2005. I've got two of the projects reports that I submitted to the ACS, but they where for the job role of Software Engineer. Let me know if you're still interested, at least using them as a guide. Cheers Hi Trinky, can you also please send across the RPL reports to me as i have also applied for AUS immigration and need to submit this RPL report. Please help me by sending the reports to itskarajagi@hotmail.com
arrumac
I'd like to suggest you hire a migration agent as they will supply you with the framework to work from, I did, it cost a few quid but was worth it and I had satisfaction it was all my own work. So long as you are confidential. The work you have done you won't have any issues.
nitisaluja
Hi gaurmis, Just wanted to confirm with you as I am finding it very difficult to complete the RPL. Could you confirm is a 4 Semester course from NIIt is also valid. also, have u cleared your ACS skill assessment? Awaiting response
mattybe
I made a post about CDRs for Engineers Australia and had many PMs from 'guest' requesting copies. I would urge anyone to exercise caution, judgement and professionalism when responding to these requests. The governing body either ACS or EA provide guidance via booklets. Its acceptable to query your understanding of some points or format; requesting possibly weeks work that was written by someone else is just not the done thing. Either high risk or low risk applicants I don't discriminate...just noone is getting my work other than the governing body....professional protection..maybe. Also a lot of work and details are confidential in these reports. Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk
gaurmis
Hi nitisaluja, Yes, I have a reply from ACS confirming that a 4-6 semester course from NIIT is a valid qualification which one can submit instead of an RPL. You don't need to apply for an RPL if you have one of the below vendor qualifications (taken from ACS Guidelines). I have still not received a reply from ACS on my assessment (submitted on 21-Apr). I think it takes around 8-12 weeks for processing. Its quite near that date already...fingers crossed Microsoft Certification: > > > > To confirm your Microsoft qualification, we require the Transcript ID and Access Code. > > > > For more information please go to: https://mcp.microsoft.com/authenticate/validatemcp.aspx. > > > > View my section on the left hand side and click the transcript Sharing Code button. > > > > * Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer. > > * Microsoft Certified Solution Developer. > > * Microsoft Certified Professional Developer. > > * Microsoft Certified IT Professional from 2007. > > * Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist from August 2009. > > > > Novell Certification: > > > > * Certified Lotus Professional or Certified Novell Engineer from 1997. > > * Certified Directory Engineer from Novell. > > * Master Certified Novell Engineer. > > * Certified Novell Instructor. > > > > Cisco Certification > > > > The following list outlines the Cisco Certification accepted by the ACS. > > > > Certifications must be valid at the time of submitting the skills assessment and display the validation date. > >> > > Cisco Professional: > > > > * Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) - All tracks. > > * Cisco Certified Design Professional (CCDP). > > * Cisco Certified Voice Professional (CCVP). > > * Cisco Certified Security Professional (CCSP). > > * Cisco Certified Internetwork Professional (CCIP). > > > > Cisco Expert: > > > > * Cisco Certified Internetworking Expert (CCIE) - All tracks. > > * Cisco Certified Design Expert (CCDE). > > > > Cisco Architect: > > > > * Cisco Certified Architect. > > > > Additional Certifications > > > > * CITEC Certified Engineer or Oracle Certified Master from 2004. > > * Certified Information Systems Auditor or Certified Information Security Manager from Information Systems Audit and Control Association from 14 June 2007. > > * Certified Information Systems Security Professional from International Information Systems Security Certification Consortium from May 2008. > > * Examination in Computing or Examination in IT from Australian Computer Society. > > * Graduate Diploma (IT) or HDSE Diploma from Aptech. > > * Certificate or Diploma from British Computer Society. > > * Four or six semester Diploma from NIIT. 4kusnik
Guys please help with the following paragraphs. Just have no idea what I am supposed to describe there: Describe the scope and complexity of the problem. Describe the design method you used on this project and the rationale for its selection. List the design tools you selected for use on this project and discuss the rationale for their selection. List the major deliverables of the project that you were responsible for or contributed to, and summarize the reason for their inclusion. Also should I specify what was the initial budget and time frame and what was the cost and what time did it take in the following paragraph: Assess the overall success or failure of the project. Comment on client satisfaction, attainment of objectives, and ultimate versus proposed cost and schedule. I would be very grateful for the detailed explanation. ArthurPendragon
Maybe I'm casting aspersions and Mr Ahmed, Mr Gaurmis, Mr Fahad and Mr Dhama are all fine upstanding British citizens. However it's much more likely that they all come from the sub-continent - all countries within which are classed as high risk for fraudulent applications. I wonder why? I had seen people from the so called low risk countries ask in this forums if they need to declare their criminal convictions and whether to declare their health conditions truthfully. What is your take on that?Or are they held to another standard ? Edited April 18, 2014 by ArthurPendragon
ArthurPendragon
Guys, The questions are self explanatory. Please try to spend time on what you have actually done and update it. Since an RPL will be very specific to the individual, another applicant's will not be relevant. Most will also be unwilling to share their work. Also, it's best to complete your own as it's the easiest way to avoid any concerns DIBP may have regarding plagiarism.
