In QLD (Redlandshire) our last quarter was $471 BUT that included our water aswell. In NSW (Penrith Council) a similar sized property has Council Rates of $296 for the quarter, with $176 for water rates, total $472. If you are renting, YOU do not pay it, it is the property owners responsibility, and therefore it is all covered by the rent. As a renter you may have to pay water usage only, which in my two examples were: NSW - $84.00 for 70KL and QLD - $35.00 for 54KL (per quarter) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
