BrownEyedGal 72 Posted January 21, 2012 Hi All Does anyone know if there are car boot sales held in Sydney - not garage sales or markets - just car boots? I had a quick look into getting a stall at a market but it asks for some type of insurance cover which I'm not sure I want to get into. I've got heaps of things to get rid of/sell, (some has already gone to the second hand shops). I don't want to do Ebay or Gumtree. 3FatCats 6,875 Posted January 22, 2012 Hi there, not sure what area of Syndey you are in, but there is sometimes a car boot in Blacktown in the open air cinema grounds. OH and I went once to have a look, tbh it was nothing like a UK car boot and we personally thought the quality was a bit low (rusty nails anyone??!!). Some people didn't even have tables and just dumped whatever they were trying to sell directly on the floor. However, it is large and if you have good quality stuff it would probably sell quite well. You can probably find out how to get a space by googling. And the end of all our exploring will be to arrive at where we started, and know the place for the first time.
