its weird sitting in the house, no sofa or chairs, waiting for people to collect all other stuff, i hate all this cleaning

hopefully got a viewing tomorrow

Yes, we have borrowed deck chairs in the lounge, a small borrowed tv and borrowed inflatable beds. No fridge freezer or anything else and we have this for 2 weeks this end and months at the other end, but worth it :-)

I am not so sure that it will necessarily help us to get there any quicker, but we have booked ourselves a Spa Package on a Med Cruise for 8 nights in November. It will certainly make sure that if we do ever get there, it will put us in better shape to deal with the rest of the stress and waiting.

Well the time is getting closer. The removalists are coming to pack all our stuff on the 15th November... 2 weeks 4 days...

So today it was going through sorting out the garage...what is going and what is staying. Cleaned up tools, garden furniture and threw out a lot...lucky it's rubbish collection day tomorrow.

Feeling mega excited about our move today. Just applied for bank account and money transfer account. Into last 2-6 weeks wait for visa granting, it's like the end of a pregnancy, the closer it gets the longer it takes, EEK, I just want everything sorted and ready to go.

Applied for mutual recognition for CPEng, NPER and RPEQ. Eyewateringly expensive for the Engineers Australia registration and associated assessments of specialism, but mandated RPEQ in QLD and limited membership may limit capacity and thereby increase rates for signatory roles.
