Hoops
Hi everyone I am flying to Sydney on December 29th but still haven't got any travel insurance! When I have tried to get some with some of the main insurers in the UK they will only insure me until I come back to the UK - which will probably be next Christmas for a holiday. Its going to cost me around £300 to £400 for a years insurance but I only want to be insured for the couple of days travelling. Has anyone else overcome this and where did you get insurance from? I'd be grateful for any suggestions Thanks Rachel

pwkl
Multi trip annual insurance for the family shouldn't be that much, around £100 for a decent level of cover.
cdb
I bought mine at the airport on the way out for 2 weeks (From Boots) and when you arrive in Australia you can register for Medicare.
paisleylass
You need a policy that covers one way trips. I'm pretty sure the Post Office does these, and you can get cover for so many days after you arrive. I don't think any annual multi-trip policies will cover one-way. WoodE
Hi You can get Globelink travel insurance. It is an UK based insurance company and they provide cover when you are away. I would not find better value and service anywhere else. Just Google them.
