Age exception, anyone applied for it and did you get it?

Recommended Posts

Dear All,

My OH is getting close to the cut off for a ENS 121 sponsored visa on age, 45 years.

Mainly because TRA are taking 60-90 days to process apllications even though they quote 30 days!

We may be able to speed up the process and hopefully just make the cut off time however, it will cost another £3000.00. I know some of you lovely people on here have applied for age exemption but are still waiting. I was just wondering if anyone was granted a visa with age exception or were you turned down.

I am hoping that as have a sponsor, would just have missed the cut off and unusual skill it would be granted, but not sure what criteria are considered.

Stressing really and looking for someone to tell me will have no problems, anyone?

Many thanks

Tina, Family of Five.

I'm sure that as long as you are under 45 at the time you lodge your visa application you should be fine? Or is it the TRA application holding you up?

If so - maybe submit an application for a visa and attach proof that you've applied for TRA?

Dear Dono,

The ENS 121 is going to be submitted January and we could put our visa application in at the same time, but wont have TRA complete. Can you add TRA stuff later, I read your have to submit everything at the same time?

OR I wondered if sponsor submits his section before OH turns 45 would we be able to put ours in later as the sponsorship section should be granted before we submit our application, unless doing decision ready?

Hi

My mum got her ENS 856 approved in August this year. her employer submit the nomination in November 2010 and that was approved in march 2011 - she waited on the outcome of that before submitting her application. She then prepared it and used a migration agent and submit in July 2011. It took exactly 4 weeks to be approved.

You could possibly submit the application with a cover letter explaining that you are awaiting the TRA result.

My mum is 53

Good luck
