Guest SydneySiderInSurrey Posted December 6, 2011 Share Posted December 6, 2011 We recently moved from Australia to Surrey, UK and brought our Aussie flat screen TV with us thinking it would work here. But, sadly, we aren't able to change the country code and get it to work. So I am looking for someone here in the Surrey area that is planning to move to Australia and would like a free TV to put in their container. It's 2 years old and around 32" (if I remember correctly). We used it in our guest room. All you need to do is come by and pick it up. TVs are very expensive in Australia (we paid around $800 for it). I'm just hoping to save it from going to the dump. I've never even heard of freeview (we aren't big TV watchers). Anyway, I will give it a go and see if it works. If not, I did receive a message from someone who might be able to use it.
