Recommended Posts

Guest talisman

Hi,

Has anybody applied for a 175 GSM visa and included sponsorship points?

Is this possible?

Thanks

Jane:wacko:

What sponsorship are you looking at? Have you looked at the subclass 176 visa?

Best regards.

Hi we have looked at this visa and it seems there are STNI lists and we are not on them.

Only for the NT.

Thanks Jane

Have you looked at the subclass 475 provisional visa then?

Best regards.

Keep an eye on the SA list up to the date you apply for your visa - the list for 176 visa sponsorship doesn't seems to be fixed as yet.

Best regards.

Hi

The removal of pathway D stopped us from receiving another TRA assessment in our base trade. The NVQ (apprenctice mode) in the UK works inconjunction with college and experienece. This was updated to work experience and competence in the UK 15+ years ago.

You can study brickwork, joinery, plastering and decorating full time in college (3 days a week) for 2 years then you need work experience to finsh off your apprenticeship. The hours on TRA don't add up in other pathways, even on a day release study which is another option of study.

We also have GCSE Levels in construction for pre 16 which have not been assessed for experience.

The LSC (Learning and Skills Council) are now introducing Specialist Diplomas in Construction for 2008. This will also create major problems for any future trades.

Therfore alot of trades from the Uk will not be able to migrate.

What a shame.

Thanks

Jane
