Peemacgee
Hi just wondering if anyone knows any decent places to park a motorbike near Clarence street? I have seen the free parking spots but don't want my bike to get trashed, I have seen the domain car park is $5 per day does anyone else park there or now how easy it is to get a spot? alexswift
I would like to know also, I see guys and girls parking on the pavement and legally as you don't obstruct fire doors, people etc but some one tripping over an R1is lots of $'s. --- I am here: http://maps.google.com/maps?ll=-33.841756,151.226108

Peemacgee
I was.considering the domain car park and take a hike. Although reception at work has loads of room so wonder if they would mind me parking indoors?

I have seen a black market option http://www.findacarpark.com.au but not tried it yet as I don't have a bike or car yet. --- I am here: http://maps.google.com/maps?ll=-33.863045,151.211110
Peemacgee
I've not got my bike yet either, what kind you looking at?
alexswift
Dont know yet, it will be my main transport other than the Bus and Ferry to work so I will need it to take the shopping home etc so might even get a Suzuki Burgman. But I haven't decided on a car or bike yet, I think the days of having a car and a few bikes are over because they all cost so much. Also if your free tonight and want to chew the fat with other POMS come along for a beer at PJ's http://britishexpats.com/forum/showthread.php?t=740349
desreb
I only do meetings in the CBD, so I can park in the street for two hours or so. All day... Dunno. A couple of guys I've spoken to say that if you can park on the pavement out of the way, you may only get an occasional ticket. Bit hit and miss though. The other observation, is finding a private car park out of the busiest areas where you can sneak around the barrier in an unattended car park. Again, only a rare option outside the busiest streets.
