Eera
What do you mean by site manager? Generally a mine site is overseen by the Site Senior Executive (SSE) who are very experienced in mining and have had to sit a tonne of statuatory exams, it's not something a person with no site experience would ever be considered for. There's the possibility you could go into project management for contracting companies or something on a small scale, if you check out the websites of companies who do contract work you'll get a good idea (one major one I deal with is Bechtel who have loads of vacancies for things like site administrators and document controllers, you'll have to trawl through to see what would suit you individually). Construction experience is normally needed, I don't know what the supervisory requirements in WA are but in QLD you'd need a heap of them (posted elsewhere about them, won't repeat here). And sometimes it takes a while for the right person to come around to answer specific queries. Don't take it personally. Cheers
