Hi all. I have a flight booked to brisbane on the 13th of november! I have been to dentist today and i need a operation to remove a tooth/cist. I am wondering if i am covered by the nhs in oz or if dental costs will be out the window. Any help would be much appreciated. Luke

Like others have said, definitely get it done on the NHS before you fly as it will be much cheaper. If your flight is for a holiday I'd take out some good travel insurance just in case.

I had a crown done this morning and it cost $1,750. After checking this seems to be the going rate around here for a crown. This would have cost £204 on the NHS. Maybe I should try one of those dental holidays to Eastern Europe or Thailand next time
