Hi guys my wife and I have just moved to the northern beaches Sydney and I have a job however my wife is looking for a job close to northern beaches/city center.She is a qualified social worker so will be looking for something within this role.

If ive got my info correct, it can be a lengthy and costly process to be able to work over here as a social worker, if you qualified in the uk. Make sure you look into it.

 

There are some social workers on here, i hope they will help guide your wife through the process

Social workers dont need to do anything to work legally in Australia. Most employers ask for eligibility to register with AASW so she must be degree educated. Anything less is not automatic registration.
