457 visa and leaving UK with family?

Recommended Posts

Hi

I'm hoping our 457 visa comes through anyday now and wondered whether the whole family has to travel together when leaving the UK?

Cheers

I wondered too, as our eldest is joining us, when he's finished uni, although he'll be travelling backwards and forwards until then

thanks for asking the question

Hi Guys

you can travel individually , if you have an electronic passport it will be on your passport but carry a copy of the print out of your own visa just in case

good luck with the move

We emailed our case officer to check this as our eldest was at Uni when we moved to Australia, on a 457. They replied to say that she could enter Australia at a later date. When we moved, we arrived first, with our daughter arriving a couple of months later.

Hope that helps, as it was something we worried about at the time.
