Proof of Employment Docs

Recommended Posts

Guest NeilanGemz

Hi Everyone

I have been assigned a CO and have meds booked and already sent off for my police checks. I have been asked for proof of employment history (12 months out of the last 24), I have wage slips for the past 5 months, I can provide reference from my current employer, but I was self employed running my own business prior to that. I have some bank personal bank statements showing money going in from my business account and can obviously provide trade references for clients I carried out works for. Is this enough or should I get my accountant to knock up some wage slips for 12 months prior?

What has other people sent in that has been accepted?

Any help is of course very much appreciated.

Neil

Hiya,

Not sure if thats any help, as have no knowledge of the own business, sorry.

They'll often ask for tax returns for self employed people to show you were running/working in a legitimate business

I've not been asked for payslips yet, but would I be better uploading 12 individual payslips, or making one document? Mine are all electronic PDFs now anyway.

I have 6 months of Pay slip from my current employer (and a reference) and I could most likely get pay slips done from my own business as it was a Ltd company if needed. I've obviously got loads of bank statements from the business account and my personal account showing funds going in from the business. I've not got last years accounts yet due to the accounting period. My company web site is still up and running though, will this help??

Anybody else gone this route?

Cheers

Thanks all.

I have just uploaded a years worth of remittance advice notes from my clients as well as the last 4 pay slips from my current employment. I'll be getting a reference from work tomorrow and I've just order my last 12 months of bank statements from my business account. Is this enough? I'm hoping so as it took me all night to scan in the remittances!!!

Thanks in advance

Neil

I made one PDF per calendar year of payslips and one PDF for all the P60's. Did the job, no questions asked. You have a limit of 60 docs you can upload (after that it's email).

Seemed silly to ask the CO to open a new doc for every payslip; I'm in IT and it would wind me up. Admittedly I did provide 80 odd payslips and 7 P60's.

Cheers

P
