Some great advice on here.

 

Funnily enough, I came to Australia on a WHV fully expecting to do the typical backpacker jobs like bar work etc., and got my RSA not long after I arrived, but ended up working as a software test analyst (the same job I had in London for three years) on a three month contract, and was just recently made permanent with a 457 visa to go with it....

I like the comment from the lady at the end 'as long as you're prepared to do anything, you'll find work - it might not be the work you want, but you will find work'. So different from the UK atm! :biggrin:


Moved on a 179 PR visa Feb 2012; Citizenship granted Jan 2016. Settled in Adelaide. Loving it and feel like everyday is paradise compared to life in the UK.
