kirra
Vaccination certificates All families must provide vaccination certificates for a student upon enrolment at the school. This is a government requirement. What do we need to show the school to prove our kids have been vax'd? Did you just photocopy the pages in their red book? Guest
Take their red books with you. Far better to have them than copies.
rebrol
At some point it would be worth getting their status on the Oz immunisation register. If you take your red book to the doctors, they will fill in a form and send it off to get it on the official register.
calNgary
Hi as the above poster said you can get a form from Centrelink and go to a GP who will basically 'transfer' the info from the Red Book onto an Official Aussie vacination form. You may also find until this is done you wont recieve any child care benefit (even if your eligable). Cal x

Guest shusselmann
Hi, You can get the Immunisation History Form online too, we printed this form and took it to our GP. Didn't involve Centrelink at all... It wasn't as straight forward as we hoped though as the writing in our red books wasn't very clear. If you haven't left the UK yet I'd recommend reviewing the red book(s) to make sure you can read the names of all the drugs your children have had. I still wonder whether we missed something... fairystar32
We didn't. Have never been asked for the older kids for any immunisation record. Have been asked for my youngest as he is starting kindy, the doctors had photocopied his red book and then submitted it, but we have stopped vaxing for now.
