To book or not to book?

Ok, this is the state of play:

 

Written job offer :-)

Passed IELTS :-)

Awaiting registration.....5 weeks now

Made enquiry re medical.......

New employer sponsoring me on a 457 visa....do i need to do anything for this was otld they do it on line????

 

So, my question is do i book my flight now or wait a wee while longer?

 

HELP !!!

I would wait until the visa is in your hand before booking flights.

It sounds like things are moving along quickly for you.

wait for the visa to come through.

as for the visa process... the employer will start it off, and then you need to add your evidence (passport, birthcert., cv, other possible evidence etc incl medical) online. Once you have done all this, the Visa will be approved.

All seems like it is in the bag, but still would wait till you have the visa in your hand. What is the benefit of booking up now? Best to wait for sure and know all is OK. Things have a way of popping up and throwing plans off a bit.

Well guys you all said the same! Wait until got visa approved! Which is good as it gives me longer to save up teh £1000 i'll need to pay for the migration flight!

Whilst i'm here how do you get the info onteh bottom of the post like names and dates of things????
