Hi Lucy, just found out it will state 'referred' do you know what they class as needing to be referred? it is all a little confusing :err: have looked at some threads and some people had them stated as referred then a few days later finalised :swoon: hope someone can help with this, as not quite sure what they class as needing to be referred Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
bensdad Posted September 15, 2011 Share Posted September 15, 2011 Hi log onto the system , you will see the front page with all your messages on, on this it will say medicals received with a date go something like 12/09/11 Further medicals received 12/09/11 medicals received 12/09/11 medicals received etc, etc then you will see the dates on the left change and the wording will go to either finalised or referred. this is how they tell you. Hope this helps, also mine went from referred to finalised during their night time so I presume once finalised it is an automatic updating system from Sydney Medical place to adelaide processing centre. My partner's were finalised on the 7th after we undertook meds on the 2nd. However, my name was only added to the application last week on the 6th/7th, they say medicals received but blood tests still outstanding. I think they would have them as we did medicals the same day but mine will probaby just take longer as only just been added. How did you know you even had to get a GP letter? Our agent just said to take any existing specialist reports regarding any medical conditions. I don't have any specialist reports as far as I know so didn't take any!! The doctor we saw at the medicals said it wouldn't cause a problem and he said nothing about contacting my GP either. I'm not worried about passing but mine may get referred if they look into it in oz...I just assumed all medicals conditions got referred but maybe not. Hi Lucy, the clinic asked me if I wanted to get a letter containing medical history to attach with my meds, I've said on previous threads that I thought the clinic were dealing with it originally and they asked my surgery for a letter at the start of sept, and only got invoiced yesterday, and I was so annoyed with the timescale, that I said just to froward my meds to immi and not that I was not expecting it but mine are now saying referred :cry::sad: totally gutted now, and can't see a happy ending!! Your medicals are only referred as they want further information which will be the notes from your GP. Once they receive that they can start processing it. I wouldn't worry yet. Guest Posted September 16, 2011 Share Posted September 16, 2011 The clinic received the invoice yesterday but it will be me who pays for it, I got a mandate from the Gp to say if it was ok for them to see my notes, I was obviously happy for this but because it was taking so long I just asked them to send it. I am worrying :arghh: it's just really hard not to!! well I will go to GP next week and see if he can email them, the only thing is if it is immi or the clinic he will email as they have sent the medical report already so might not want the letter - not sure but will phone them too on Monday and ask, they have been brill btw and that makes a huge difference.
