Cinders5055 10 Posted September 10, 2011 Apologies if this question has been asked before - probably hundreds of times! I was just wondering if, like the notary public, the cost of medicals varied in the UK. Has anyone had their medical in London and how much was it? I'm thinking it will probably cost about £250 - £300 is this right? Thanks in advance Lisa
mandymark 208 Posted September 10, 2011 Hi Here's a link to all the panel doctors in the UK. Best thing to do is contact each one direct for their prices as they all vary. I was looking at London/Essex area but have found Maidenhead cheaper. http://www.immi.gov.au/contacts/overseas/u/united-kingdom/panel-doctors.htm Just found the Knightsbridge clinic pricing: http://www.visamedicals.info/australia-price.asp Compared to Maidenhead pricing: http://www.bridge-clinic.com/immigrtn-pricing.htm Mandy /

It's only about an hour or so from London. Guess I'd better call for an appointment thanks Lisa

Thanks for posting this. Can you tell me, my kids are 13, 16 and 18. Do they need to have all the above tests done? Also, is the courier paper thing an alternative to online admin? or as well as? Thanks, Helen

Thanks, Helen The paper thing is exactly that for paper applications do ehealth it is so much quicker , to give you an idea I was charged for the medical, hiv test, x-ray and online admin only total bill for me and the misses approx £510 kids dont need hiv under 15 i think, not sure bout xray we did look around Maidenhead were cheaper but after taking into account fuel costs time taken to get there etc, we opted for Manchester and I'm glad i did they were fantastic. mandymark 208 Posted September 15, 2011 Yes, all children over 11yrs old need a chest xray. Once they are 15yrs old they also need the HIV blood tests. Mandy x /
