This is what we did a couple of times. Never any problems getting the bond back. Most recently we got carpets done for around $100 and the house cleaned for around $250 from memory, I think. 4 Bed house, 2 bathrooms, Rochedale South. We got a few quotes who were ridiculous. One suggested it would take 4 people two days to clean it...we had been in it 4 months and we aren't the messiest! In the end, the agent suggested a cleaner they used and a carpet company separately. With $350, I got all carpets cleaned professionally and the house spic and span.
