Guest Louisemarybillia
Hi all, was just wondering if anyone has any 176 news updates, our CO has had all our info, the lot !!, but we have not had a review update since the 5th Sept, final docs uploaded 22nd sept, still not a peep.......... The agent sent a nudge to the CO and we were told that the case would be reviewed first week of October ! Still nothing . Just wondered if there maybe a general slow down, we are SS, Cat 3:unsure:

Just wondered if there maybe a general slow down, we are SS, Cat 3:unsure: i hope we are not impacted by these, seems things have slowed down since 7th SEP ? http://www.immi.gov.au/skilled/general-skilled-migration/estimated-allocation-times.htm Important Information: New State Migration Plans (SMPs) for some states and territories have been released. Details are available on the relevant state or territory websites. Due to the implementation of these new SMPs, some existing GSM applications are eligible for Priority Group 3 processing. GSM is currently re-categorising these applications to ensure they are prioritised correctly and affected applicants do not need to contact GSM processing centres regarding this. As a result this of re-categorising the allocation of Priority Group 4 applications has been reduced for this update period.
Guest Louisemarybillia
Hi, this is just regarding an allocation of a CO
dalejaneaustralia
I guess we need to hear from people who submitted their visas after the 7th sept to see who has their CO. By my reckoning (if they are still moving quickly) they should be up to round the 20th on the next update. It is only a guide but just be nice to know if our CO is near (we submitted on the 28th). Guest Louisemarybillia
What visa type are u guys waiting on? Hi dalejaneaustralia/theworm its a 176 visa SS SA cat 3 , looking at the forums and timelines it looks like a bunch of people are in the same situation, im hoping that as they have only just updated the CO allocation today then they must be well on the way to clearing the back log... surely you cannot keep on taking more cases without the existing being cleared at some point
dalejaneaustralia
Yeah we're 176 too. I wondered whether it's slowed a bit due to some the changes that have been brought in. Perth becoming regional etc, there must be a massive amount people who have moved categories. We're not planning on going until next year, but be nice to actually have the visa so we can get a date in the diary!!
