hmsmark 36 Posted October 18, 2011 From what I can remember they work up until christmas eve and after boxing day they are open again so the don't close for long, I think things will be slower. Tania The office may be open, but there always seems to be a lot of people taking their holiday around Christmas and New Years, so it will slow processing if a significant portion of the staff are away. TraxFM 28 Posted October 18, 2011 Well we had our medicals today. I must say Dr Smith and staff at Manchester were brilliant,really made you feel at ease. He said we were healthy enough but my OH is diabetic so he says it automatically gets referred so we will just have to wait and see. I also forgot to mention that they asked us for payslips and P60's for the periods back from when we first applied for the visa, so back from 2008-2010. pandv_2000 10 Posted October 18, 2011 Haha only last week I was saying how I wasn't bothered if it takes a while to get a case officer after all we were looking at 12-18 months when we applied blah blah blah. Now I'm looking at the front page and its difficult not to get carried away with thoughts of a CO, medicals , police checks and that golden ticket :wink: Hopefully if they process us cat 4 people quickly they can move onto some of those cat 5 folk who have been waiting forever. I feel a CO is close.... :yes: Looking to move on 175 visa. Me, DH, DS (9) and DS (2) IELTS sat 12/2/11 - scored 8.5, Skills assessment 1/4/11, 175 application lodged 6/4/11. CO 21/11/11 Team 4.
