where is good in August?

Recommended Posts

Hi guys..

my family would like to get away for a few days in August. But we cannot decide where to go..so much to see and we dont know where would be the best place weather wise for this time of year. We will be on a very tight budget too. We live south of Sydney and would like some ideas of where we could go that could entertain 2 adults and 1 11 year old? any suggestions ????? thanks folks..

How long are you looking at going for? What's the budget?

August is dry season in the tropics, and cooler season in the desert.

If you're on a low budget, maybe look at camping or cabins rather than hotels/apartments. Go somewhere that you can self cater for some of the meals, so you're not having to eat out every evening. Take picnics when you go on day trips, rather than buying tourist food at inflated prices.

Hi, centre Parks is reelly nice, specialy if your've got young kiddie's. also I like going to Devon for there creme tees, or Edinburg for there Edinburg festavel or there militery tatto. Other plaices worth a look might be Pampelona in france, were the bullfighting gos on, or may be too Ia Nappa in Malorca.

pssst! they're in Australia!

(also, Pamplona is in Spain, and Ayia Napa is in Cyprus)

Where did you end up going?
