gaz n family
What did you do when you arrived in terms of a dentist? We have asked the dentist for our recprds, they have said it is not nessacary as they will want to start from scratch. How did others cross this bridge? Guest Guest31881
You do not need dental or medical records as they both start from scratch. The dentist will just look in your mouth and work out what needs to be done. No need to bring anything. You just visit any dentist and pay,:biggrin:
Guest
Yup, the above Dental records are not even transferred within the UK so they don't need them overseas. Each time you register with a new dentist they just make a new record anyways. Some people take a medical history if they have lots of health issues but otherwise its not needed. Just fill in your medical history if they ask for it.
Guest VickyMel
Can anyone recommend reasonable/good dental insurance?
Guest Guest31881
Not sure if you can get just dental insurance, i think it has to be part of a full health insurance.
leemina
My dentist told us the same thing, that the new dentist will want to do a full assessment of the teeth and therefore a handover file wasnt needed. Have yet to speak to doctors, but think it may be the same, good job we've not got lots of medical issues.
