Hi Guys

 

Can you please help we have recieved email from co requesting evidence for 19 year old son. He is in full time education at college have sent letters from colleges to say that also sent qualification certificates but co wants more. He is on my car insurance details as a third driver i will send the documents but what else can i send he lives at home we give him cash if he needs anything.

Have you done a stat declaration this was something my CO asked for I think the solicitor only charged £10.

We have an 18 year old, I've believe letters addressed to him are accepted, why not email and ask

Letters addressed to him does not prove he is dependent, just that he lives in the same house. Send his bank statements to show his own lack of income and you could show yours or receipts, phone contract, etc to show what you pay out for him. Tax credit info & child benefit awards if you get them also show he is still your dependent as you couldn't get them if he wasn't.
