I am wondering if anyone know if chinchillas can be shipped into aus. I am taking my dogs and cats and would very much not like to have to rehome my beautiful boys  I have looked around on the net and not really spotted anything, i know some rodants are not accepted so if you know any info on this please get in touch with me , thanks in advance Joanna

Guest The Pom Queen Posted May 14, 2011 Posted May 14, 2011 Unfortunately they cannot be shipped neither can birds. I loved my chinnies, not many people had heard of them and use to think I was talking about a cat, lol x
Guest wannapants Posted May 14, 2011 Posted May 14, 2011 I thought that was the case, but I wanted to know for sure. Thanks for replying :-).
newjez Posted May 14, 2011 Posted May 14, 2011 Don't think they have hamsters either. But you can get Guinea pigs and rabbits. (Probably easiest to get them when you are there)
Joob joobs Posted May 14, 2011 Posted May 14, 2011 It's awful having to leave pets behind isn't it. I'm having to leave my 6yr and 8yr old bunnies behind.
Guest wannapants Posted May 14, 2011 Posted May 14, 2011 I kow its horrible its such a big decison not helped by having to leave 'family members 'behind. Im lucky that we are only in the very early stages and not going for a couple or years so I am going to make the most of the time I have with them :-)
