Stulatics Posted May 11, 2011 Posted May 11, 2011 Hi, I am aware how juvenile this query may sound but I will press on anyway. Does anyone know the faxing code from Australia to England. I need to fax something home sharpish as part of my 457 application. Been doing a quick search on Google but it seems to be coming up with different answers, so I thought I would come on the ever-helpful PIO for help. Any assistance greatly appreciated! Stuart x
Guest siamsusie Posted May 11, 2011 Posted May 11, 2011 Is it not 0011 then 44 then the number leaving off the UK "0? Susie x
Stulatics Posted May 11, 2011 Author Posted May 11, 2011 Is it not 0011 then 44 then the number leaving off the UK "0? Susie x Hi Susie, Yeah, I thought it was that. Doesn't seem to work from the fax here at work. D'oh. Maybe it doesn't send international faxes? Bother. Thanks for your reply anyway! x
Guest Guest 47403 Posted May 11, 2011 Posted May 11, 2011 Same as the international dialling code I believe?
friedparsley Posted May 11, 2011 Posted May 11, 2011 When I fax to the UK I use 0011 44 then the fax number without the 0. It always works. Unles the fax you are using has international barring, maybe from an office??? Check you are not dialing a phone number.
Guest NeilEB Posted May 11, 2011 Posted May 11, 2011 Also make sure the office phone doesn't need a '9' or something to get an outside line
2tigers Posted May 11, 2011 Posted May 11, 2011 Also ensure its an actual fax number your sending it to, not just a phone number? Not sure if that would make a difference!
