Maxg Posted May 9, 2011 Posted May 9, 2011 Was wondering if anyone can help. My husband is having to sit the IELTS and has to get 8 in all areas. He is worried, as there is no room for getting anything wrong. Can anyone that has sat it, please let me know if it is hard or he has nothing to worry about.
Mummy Mann Posted May 9, 2011 Posted May 9, 2011 Best advice is practice!!! Once you Are familiar with the layout it is fairly straight forward. There are some useful books available and practice papers online. I used the cambridge ielts 7 book. It comes with several example tests inside and also a CD. The reading and writing is the most difficult. I put a post on here a while ago about my experience. And there are other threads that are useful on here too. The general test is easier than the academic (so I have read) Good luck!!!
